New fence
We very nearly lost a fence panel during the storms in March, so after much procastination, we decided it was time to start the process of replacing it. The back section, which is in any case in better condition, will have to wait until more of the undergrowth is cleared, but the first half is in. Took us two days to paint them but the panels literally went in while I was out with L and his cousin J fetching lunch.
The old fence, first panel down and peeking through to next door's washing line.
The panels are supposed to be "Autumn Cedar" - a sort of reddy-brown. I'm finding them a bit bright at the moment!
We imported foreign child labour ;-)
Finished fence. I do hope my clematis survives having been detached from one fence and reattached to the other.
While uploading them I came across this, from two months ago today!
