More sewing
L has slept well this evening (woken twice, briefly, I suspect bad dreams) so I got on with some sewing.
I re-made the Frankenkozy. Things lined up better this time. I now worry of course that its too narrow, but I think it will be OK, especially since the boy does prefer to be carried facing out (and it prevents him using the proximity as an excuse to dive bomb my cleavage).
I also made a *thing*. MIL and I saw these last weekend and as L is fascinated by labels right now, they are his favourite part of any toy, I thought he might like one. Not for £10 though! This one, though not neat or straight (my sewing is not that good!) was about £5, even though its bigger and thats including some pretty expensive ribbon because I liked it :) I could have made one the same as the ones in the store for half that. I'll keep it til we're on the plane, I think :)

Cats
What is most wrong with this? Thats a pile of *wet* sleeping bags.
Awwwww
Awwwww
Frankenkozy
Basic plans from Jan Andrea , with some alterations in method which made it a bit easier to make up IMO. Its very comfortable and I am pleased with it, despite some cosmetic flaws (things not lining up 100%). It is however more suitable for Hagrid than me, size wise. Not only are the straps too long (mostly the shoulder ones, which are easily shortened) but the blanket is designed for a baby about twice L's width, especially since he likes facing outwards. So I get to remake it :)

First meal
Finally got the table built tonight, so DH, MIL and I ate in the kitchen for the first time. The light is in bits still, it needs shortening somewhat (its a pull down one, but thats it at its *highest* point). I also need to buy table mats and new cushions for the chairs.
